Senior Associate – Residential Conveyancing

Job Category: PRIVATE PRACTICE
Job Location: READING
Practice Area: RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY

A respected law firm is looking to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Associate Solicitor to head up a new Residential Conveyancing team in its Reading office. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional who thrives on responsibility, leadership, and business growth.

The firm is particularly keen to hear from individuals with at least ten years of post-qualification experience, who are ready to make a significant career move and help drive the firm’s expansion in the South Oxfordshire region.

You’ll take full ownership of a varied caseload of residential property transactions, supported by a skilled Legal Assistant. Alongside this, you’ll play an active part in raising the firm’s profile through networking and business development initiatives — contributing directly to the department’s growth and success.

This is a compelling opportunity to join a growing practice offering not just a competitive salary and benefits package, but also a clearly defined path for career progression and development.

What the Firm is Looking For

The successful candidate will bring in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in residential conveyancing. You should be a confident communicator, a strong team player, and someone who is comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Commercial awareness and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and local agents will be essential, as will a proactive approach to marketing and growing the department’s reach. Leadership skills are vital — you’ll be expected to guide, mentor, and support junior team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for a new challenge and the chance to lead from the front. Please submit a copy of your CV or email kani@purelawrecruitment.com with any questions.
