Solicitor (Rural Law) – Thames Valley
I am seeking a Solicitor to join a very well-established Rural Law team in Berkshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in this specialist area of law and become a long-term expert in the field
Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload encompassing a range of rural property matters, including:
- Sales and acquisitions of agricultural land and buildings
- Drafting overage provisions
- Farm-related tenancy issues 1 (succession rights, surrenders)
- Wayleaves and easements
- Property development/investment work
- Renewable energy projects
- Provide support to the wider Commercial Property team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with 0-4+ years PQE (candidates outside this range with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply).
- Demonstrated interest in rural law and the agricultural sector.
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
