This top-tier London firm is seeking a talented mid-level Restructuring & Insolvency Associate to join its highly regarded team. As part of the firm’s renowned Tier 1 restructuring practice, you will work alongside industry-leading professionals on all aspects of Restructuring & Insolvency matters. This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise within a team widely recognised for its excellence in this field.
Job Purpose:
- Advise the firm’s clients on a wide range of Restructuring & Insolvency matters, encompassing non-contentious, advisory, and contentious issues.
- Act on behalf of insolvency practitioners, corporates, directors, distressed lenders, and creditors.
What you’ll be doing
- Advise on business turnarounds, refinancing, corporate and personal insolvency, and directors’ duties, including preparing contractual documentation for business sales by office holders and secured lending by distressed lenders.
- Provide strategic guidance to directors of distressed companies on insolvency matters, Companies Act offences, and their duties and responsibilities.
- Contribute to the growth of the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice through marketing initiatives, including writing articles and blogs, delivering seminars, and building relationships with clients and referees.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship across the firm and with a diverse range of clients, ensuring a seamless and proactive service delivery.
- Stay informed about trends in the restructuring and insolvency sector, ensuring the team remains forward-thinking and progressive while maintaining excellent financial discipline and robust case and document management.
