This firm is looking for someone who wants broad, high-quality immigration work across both private and corporate clients.
The team
The Immigration Group advises a varied client base of businesses and private individuals. Clients come from sectors including financial services, technology, life sciences, media, sport and the creative industries. The team has a long track record of advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. The group is multinational and multilingual. It works closely with the firm’s private wealth, real estate, family and employment teams to give clients joined-up advice. Its work also extends beyond the UK into international immigration matters.
The role
You’ll advise on a wide range of UK immigration matters, including:
- UK immigration options for HNW and UHNW private clients
- Clients setting up businesses in the UK, including Innovator Founder, UK Expansion Worker and Scale-up routes
- Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility and other work-based visas
- Sponsor licences, Home Office compliance and right to work checks
- Global Talent applications
- EU Settlement Scheme, Indefinite Leave to Remain and British Citizenship applications, including discretionary cases
- Asylum, humanitarian protection and human rights claims
- Appeals, administrative reviews and strategic immigration advice
About you
- 0–4 PQE in immigration law, gained in a law firm or specialist practice
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own caseload
- Confident and personable, able to build relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders
- A clear communicator who can explain technical points in plain English
- Calm under pressure, adaptable and proactive
- Comfortable using AI and legal technology to improve client service and find efficiencies
- Keen to supervise and develop junior colleagues as your career progresses
