A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Employment team in London. The firm is organised around industry sectors, with technology, energy transition and life sciences among its headline areas, alongside sectors such as financial services, infrastructure, mobility and consumer. This is an opportunity for an employment lawyer to work across advisory, contentious and transactional matters, with an international dimension.
The Team:
The Employment team is a full-service practice based in London, working closely with colleagues in the firm’s other UK offices. Its work spans advisory, employment litigation and corporate transactions, including restructuring, restrictive covenants, reputational risk management and data privacy. It works alongside the firm’s incentives, business immigration, pensions and health and safety practices, and alongside clients’ HR and in-house legal teams. The firm emphasises practical, decisive advice, and the team uses legal technology and AI tools in its work.
Key Areas of Work:
- Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law, in the UK and internationally
- Supporting a full-service practice covering advisory work, employment litigation and corporate transactions
- Working on matters such as restructuring, restrictive covenants, reputational risk management and data privacy
- Working with the incentives, business immigration, pensions and health and safety practices
- Potential involvement in cross-border projects and international secondment opportunities
- Using legal technology and AI tools
Your Future:
- Early client exposure and individual feedback
- Skills-based training within a career development programme, with clear expectations at each level of progression
- Reward based on your contribution and potential rather than length of qualification
- Consideration of flexible working requests, and a flexible benefits scheme
Candidate Profile:
- An employment lawyer at Senior Associate level, with experience across a range of employment matters
- The firm will consider candidates with more or less experience
If you are an employment lawyer looking for broad, internationally connected work within an industry-focused firm, this could be an excellent next step.
