My client is a leading UK law firm and they seek an Associate Solicitor to join their established Employment team in Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on a range of employment matters, including both contentious and non-contentious issues.
- Advise clients in the Higher Education sector on employment law and related concerns.
- Work closely with Partners in Oxford, London and across the UK to manage a varied caseload.
- Undertake some work relating to the Police Federation and represent both claimants (primarily senior executives) and respondents.
- Provide corporate support on employment law issues.
- Actively participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the team’s growth.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with NQ – 2 years PQE in Employment Law.
- Strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in employment law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
- Experience in the Higher Education sector is desirable, but not essential.
