The Firm
Our client is a top-tier international law firm . The team works hand in hand with its London antitrust colleagues and the wider global network, and is known for high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional work for leading multinationals and financial sponsors. The Brussels practice is growing fast and has recently been strengthened at senior level, so this is an excellent time to join a team on the way up.
The Role
The firm is looking for a Competition Associate with 2–5 years’ experience to join its Brussels team. You will work directly with some of the most respected names in EU competition law across the full range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Merger control: leading on complex EU and multi-jurisdictional filings, including Phase II reviews before the European Commission and coordination with national authorities worldwide
- Cartels: representing clients in investigations, dawn raids and leniency applications
- Abuse of dominance: acting on high-profile behavioural cases, often involving technology and digital markets
- Litigation: supporting appeals against European Commission decisions before the General Court and the Court of Justice
- Digital and regulatory regimes: advising on the Digital Markets Act, the Foreign Subsidies Regulation and foreign direct investment screening
- Advisory and compliance: day-to-day competition advice, compliance programmes and transaction risk assessments
Associates have early responsibility and direct client contact. The team’s size means you will be a visible part of major matters rather than one of many.
About You

What’s on Offer
- Highly competitive remuneration and benefits
- Work on market-leading, headline matters from day one
- Close mentorship from leading competition partners
- Clear career progression within a well-invested, expanding practice
