This outstanding law firm is seeking a finance lawyer with 1-5 years’ PQE and expertise in DCM matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers, contributing to the drafting and management of transactions across a broad spectrum of matters.

Working alongside top-tier sector teams, including the renowned housing finance team, the practice excels in sectors such as social housing, local authorities, and healthcare, positioning it as a trusted choice for bookrunners and investors in these areas. The team has an impressive client base, advising major banks like Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, NatWest Markets, and Santander on public bond issuances. It also represents the majority of UK institutional investors in privately placed transactions.
The Role
- Engage in a variety of DCM matters, representing bookrunners, investors, trustees, and issuers across a broad spectrum of public listed and privately placed transactions.
- Collaborate closely with existing clients to build and maintain strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by delivering timely, high-quality advice while effectively managing expectations.
- Join a reputable and dynamic team that fosters professional growth through tailored Associate development programs, 1-2-1 coaching, and dedicated mentorship opportunities.
Relevant Experience
- Be approximately 1-5 years’ PQE in Debt Capital Markets transactions, with a strong background in drafting documentation for bookrunners and investors, managing public issuances, and liaising with the FCA and LSE on debt listings.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory and securities laws, as well as market practices, ensuring high-quality and compliant transaction execution.
- Showcase a self-motivated and proactive approach with the confidence to build lasting client relationships founded on trust and exceptional service delivery and pay extra attention to being detail oriented.
- Have a forward-thinking mindset and commitment to understanding clients’ needs, drivers, and priorities, enabling the delivery of advice that is insightful, imaginative, and impactful.
