Our client is a leading independent, full-service international law firm headquartered in London, with a well-established and growing presence in Asia. The role
Due to continued growth, the Singapore office is looking to recruit a Finance Associate with 3–5 PQE (UK scale) to join its finance practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team at an exciting stage of its development. You’ll work on a broad range of financing transactions across the region, acting for both lenders and borrowers, and will be given genuine responsibility from the outset. The team is lean and close-knit, so you can expect direct contact with partners and clients, and the chance to run your own matters as your experience allows.
About you
- A qualified lawyer with 3–5 PQE (UK scale) in banking and finance, ideally gained at a top-tier international, offshore or leading national firm
- DCM and/or loans experience is an advantage, but candidates with any financing background are encouraged to apply
- English law qualified or with experience of English law-governed transactions
- Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, client-focused and confident managing transactions with a degree of autonomy
- A proactive team player who’s keen to contribute to the growth of the office and its client relationships
