The successful candidate will provide advice and representation to both employers and employees across the full spectrum of employment law matters. The caseload will be diverse, encompassing contentious and non-contentious work, and supporting other departments such as corporate on transactional issues.
Key Areas of Work:
- Advising on redundancy processes, grievance and disciplinary matters
- Handling discrimination and dismissal claims
- Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
- Preparing contracts of employment, policies, and staff handbooks
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings
- Advising on TUPE and employment aspects of M&A transactions
Candidate Profile:
- A qualified solicitor or legal executive with experience in advising both employers and employees
- Confident managing a varied caseload independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-first approach
- Collaborative, with a willingness to support colleagues and work across teams
Role Details and Flexibility:
This is a newly created position offering considerable flexibility with the option to work remotely via a secure cloud-based system. Remuneration will be aligned with experience.
