About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Antitrust Associate with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience to join a thriving team in Brussels. You will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of competition law matters, including:
- Merger control
- Abuse of dominance
- Cartel investigations
- Private damages actions
- Compliance and risk management
You will have the opportunity to work on complex, cross-border transactions and investigations, collaborating with leading practitioners in the field. Our clients include multinational corporations across diverse sectors, providing you with exposure to cutting-edge legal issues and a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on EU and UK/German competition law.
- Draft legal documents, including merger filings, pleadings, and client memoranda.
- Assist in preparing for and attending client meetings, hearings, and negotiations.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge management.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in EU competition law, gained at a reputable law firm.
- Strong academic background with a law degree from a recognised university.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in another European language is a plus.
