Associate – Real ESTATE Litigation (1-4 PQE)

I am looking to speak with an ambitious 1-4 PQE Real Estate Litigation solicitor seeking a new opportunity to join a highly respected and expanding firm in London. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative Real Estate Litigation team, where you will focus on a range of residential matters.

Responsibilities

  • Handling residential landlord and tenant matters, including rent recovery and possession claims.
  • Managing service charge disputes, including Section 20 consultations and related tribunal proceedings.
  • Advising on building safety issues, such as repairing obligations, fire safety legislation, and service charge implications.
  • Enforcing easements, restrictive covenants, and rights of light.
  • Addressing disrepair claims, adverse possession disputes, and issues involving squatters.
  • Providing transactional support on real estate matters.

Candidate Requirements

  • 1-4 years’ PQE in Real Estate Litigation, with a strong emphasis on residential property matters.
  • Proven experience handling landlord and tenant disputes, service charge challenges, and building safety issues.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of property law, including the enforcement of easements, restrictive covenants, and rights of light.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse caseload while providing valuable support to senior colleagues.
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach to delivering exceptional client service and high-quality legal work.
  • Outstanding communication and client relationship management skills, ensuring clarity and confidence in all interactions.
