I’m partnering with a highly regarded law firm that boasts a top-tier Will Disputes & Contentious Probate team. They’re looking for a talented Solicitor ( ideally 2-4 PQE) to join their team and focus exclusively on this fascinating area of law.

Pure Contentious Probate Focus: This is a rare chance to specialise entirely in contentious probate litigation. You won’t be bogged down with general civil litigation work; your focus will be solely on will disputes, inheritance claims, and estate administration disputes.

Varied and Challenging Caseload: You’ll gain exposure to the full spectrum of contentious probate matters, including high-value Inheritance Act claims, will validity challenges, executor disputes, and Court of Protection matters.
Supportive and Collaborative Team: You’ll be joining a friendly and knowledgeable team that values teamwork and encourages professional development.
Managing your own caseload of contentious probate matters. Working alongside senior colleagues on complex and high-value cases. Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and court orders. Advising clients on their legal rights and options. Representing clients in court proceedings.
What you’ll need:
2-4 years of PQE in civil litigation, with demonstrable experience in contentious probate work. A strong academic background and a genuine interest in this area of law. Excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
